Tom Welch is a 2nd generation real estate professional. He grew up in a military family and settled in suburban Maryland in 1968. He was introduced to the family-owned brokerage in 1984 and continued his path to the DC real estate market in 2001.
Tom is intimately familiar with most DC neighborhoods as well as many Maryland communities. He holds an Associate Brokers License in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Tom has earned the GRI – Graduate Realtor® Institute and CDPE® - Certified Distressed Property Expert designations.
Tom thoroughly enjoys guiding first-time purchasers through the process, values the strong loyalty he earns from past-clients, and enthusiastically awaits the opportunity to market his clients’ properties and promote their best interests. He has solid experience in residential and small-commercial sales, marketing, leasing and property management.
Tom has lived in Adams Morgan, Kalorama Heights, Petworth/Brightwood neighborhoods of DC, and presently resides on Kent Island, MD. In his personal time, he attends to his garden, practices the violin, and enjoys visits to Maryland’s eastern shore to feast on blue crabs and sweet corn.
